If you’re anything like me, birthdays and K-pop go hand in hand. And when it comes to cake, I don’t settle for plain old frosting. I go full-on K-pop-inspired cake mode. Last year, I fell in love with the idea of Svt Cakes, and since then, I’ve been collecting the cutest and most fun ideas for the ultimate Sweet Seventeen Cake celebration.

So, if you’re planning a party and want to wow your fellow CARATs, these K-pop-themed cake ideas are sure to impress.

Let’s scroll through the sugary goodness.

1. Mingyu’s Chocolate Overload Cake

Mingyu’s Chocolate Overload Cake

Mingyu and chocolate? Yes, please. This idea is a rich dream for any chocolate lover like me. I once ordered a three-layer cake made with chocolate sponge, chocolate mousse, and covered in silky dark chocolate ganache.

Then came the fun part—a mini fondant Mingyu on top holding a mic, looking adorable and serious at the same time. I even added tiny edible accessories, like his signature chain and a small camera, because, you know, Mr. Visual loves his photo shoots.

When my friends saw it, they freaked out and refused to cut it for, like, 20 minutes. It was peak K-pop-themed cake drama.

2. Jeonghan Angel Wings Cake

Jeonghan Angel Wings Cake

Jeonghan is the angel of Seventeen, and this cake captures that soft, dreamy vibe. I made a two-tier ombre cake that faded from lilac to white with sparkly gold dust.

The best part was the fondant angel wings I placed at the back and the edible halo on top. I even wrote “Angel Jeonghan” in cursive pink letters with little stars around it. When the cake came out, the entire party got quiet for a second because it looked too pretty to touch.

But of course, we still ate it. It was as heavenly as a sweet seventeen birthday cake should be.

3. Seventeen Lightstick Cake

Seventeen Lightstick Cake

Okay, this one was straight-up iconic. I turned the Carat Bong lightstick into a cake. Like, an actual edible lightstick. The base was vanilla with rainbow confetti inside, and the dome on top was made from clear jelly filled with edible glitter.

I added the Seventeen logo inside the jelly to make it look like the real thing. When we cut the cake, each slice was a surprise—colorful layers with sprinkles and hidden hearts. My K-pop friends screamed.

This was the ultimate K-pop-inspired cake, and honestly, one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for a birthday.

4. Woozi’s Studio Cake

Woozi’s Studio Cake

Calling all music nerds and Woozi stans. This cake felt like walking into his studio, only sweet and edible. I kept the design classy with white icing and little black musical notes going around the sides.

The top had a mini fondant keyboard, tiny headphones, and a Woozi figure wearing a hoodie and holding a mic. I even added a little edible music sheet that said “Don’t Wanna Cry.”

The inside was a strawberry cream flavor, which matched his soft but serious personality. Everyone loved it and kept taking photos like it was an art piece. Such a stylish SVT cake idea.

5. Joshua’s Rose Garden Cake

Joshua’s Rose Garden Cake

This one was all about elegance. I made a soft pink cake with layers of rose-flavored sponge and white chocolate filling. Around the sides, I placed edible roses and tiny sugar pearls. The highlight?

A gold ribbon was wrapped around the base, and a sign on top said “Gentleman Joshua.” Oh, and I added a mini guitar because how could I not? It looked like a royal garden tea party cake.

Perfect for a classy birthday theme. The whole vibe was romantic, sweet, and oh-so-K-pop. Truly a dreamy, sweet seventeen cake choice.

6. Hip Hop Unit Graffiti Cake

Hip Hop Unit Graffiti Cake

This one was loud, bold, and everything you’d want if your bias is from the hip-hop unit. I designed the cake with layers of chocolate and red velvet, then decorated the outside with bright graffiti-style writing using edible food coloring.

There were gold candy chains, sugar microphones, and even tiny fondant caps turned backwards. It said “Seventeen Flow” on the side in stylized lettering. We even played their rap unit tracks while cutting the cake.

The whole thing felt like a street-style birthday bash. If you want that high-energy vibe, this K-pop-themed cake is a must.

7. Jun’s Moonlight Cake

Jun’s Moonlight Cake

Jun gives off major celestial energy, so I made a moon-themed cake for a peaceful, dreamy birthday night. The cake was deep navy blue with edible silver stars, tiny sugar moons, and a shimmer that looked like stardust.

On top, I placed a mini Jun wearing a white suit with a soft expression. The flavor? Lavender vanilla with honey glaze. It tasted as magical as it looked. We even dimmed the lights to make the cake glow with tiny LED lights around the base.

A soothing, cosmic sweet-seventeen birthday cake idea that felt straight out of a fairy tale.

8. Vernon’s Chill Vanilla Cake

Vernon’s Chill Vanilla Cake

For Vernon, I wanted a cake that matched his cool, laid-back style. I went with a vanilla base but made it exciting with coconut cream layers and light blue frosting.

There was a white chocolate drip effect around the top and little edible accessories like sunglasses, a phone, and a tiny album cover. I placed a relaxed mini Vernon on top with a speech bubble that said, “Let’s Go.”

It was simple but had personality. Everyone said it was refreshing and clean, just like his vibe. A relaxed yet fun SVT cake for fans who love subtle coolness.

9. Performance Unit Dance Floor Cake

Performance Unit Dance Floor Cake

This cake was like a mini concert stage. I made a square-shaped cake with black icing and added neon pink and blue stripes to mimic a glowing dance floor.

I topped it with mini fondant versions of Hoshi, The8, Jun, and Dino in mid-dance poses. Around the cake were little edible lights made from candy sticks and glitter sprinkles for that stage sparkle. The flavor was cookies and cream, which felt like a party in every bite.

If you want to bring Seventeen’s stage energy to your party, this is the K-pop-inspired cake you need.

10. Seventeen Album Cover Cake

This one is for fans who can’t choose a favorite member but love all their albums. I printed an edible image of my favorite album cover, Face the Sun, and placed it right on top.

Around the sides of the cake, I added glitter stars and mini fondant hearts. I also placed mini fondant versions of the members around the base, holding little banners. The inside was marble cake with swirls of chocolate and vanilla.

It looked like a celebration and tasted even better. A super creative and personal Svt cake idea for album lovers.

11. All 13 Members Tiered Cake

All 13 Members Tiered Cake

Go big or go home, right? This three-tiered cake was a full-blown tribute to all 13 members. The bottom tier was for the performance unit with sparkles and neon colors. The middle tier was red and black for the hip-hop unit.

The top tier was soft pastel with musical notes for the vocal unit. On the very top, I placed a gold Seventeen logo and a pink fondant heart that said “Forever CARAT.”

Every tier had a different flavor and personality. It was massive, stunning, and perfect for a grand sweet seventeen cake celebration.
